Rachel Morton-Young MC
Rachel is an energetic and chatty British comedian, based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. She is an established act on the English-speaking comedy circuit and the owner of Mad Cow Comedy. Rachel organises and hosts the International Comedy Showcase in Utrecht and Bonobo’s Comedy Night in the Hague, as well as hosting shows and performing frequently at comedy clubs throughout the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.
Sharon Em
Sharon, described as ‘the funny Irish woman’ meanders her way through life and the planet, rarely with purpose or direction, disproving the theory that not all who wander are lost.
The kind of no nonsense comic that when she speaks, you listen! She knows what she wants and whose dryness catches you off guard at first. With its ‘did she just say that?’ Attitude. Her style is best described as "confessional comedy''.
Her debut solo show 'I know a guy' was nominated for Best Debut at Edinburgh Fringe 2024.
'Exceptionally clever' Fringe Review
**** Theater Scotland "...comedians like her are pros at finding a wonderful brightness in dark times"
She hosts numerous comedy nights in NL, from open mics to professional line up shows, under the name Weird Uncle Comedy. Her best friends still describe her as ‘who?’
James Vaughan
Kuriakose
Kuriakose Vaisian has been doing stand-up for more than five years now, joking about his life, his wife, his family at large, and Jesus Christ. That's a joke of course; he never makes jokes about his wife. Kuria's humour is a mix of observational and anecdotal, drawing a lot of inspiration from his own life and the things that happen around him. He's got an easy, laidback style that makes him relatable and accessible. He performs mostly in English.
Zuva Martens Headliner
Zuva Martens (ZIM/NL)
Zuva Martens began his career as a stand-up comedian in 2016. Since then he’s represented The Netherlands at Stand Up for Eurovision in 2023, he’s been tour support for Bassem Youssef, Glenn Wool, Todd Barry, and Fern Brady, and he's written for BBC TWO’s Mock the Week panellist Ria Lina.
He is a courtly comedian with a sarcastic edge hidden in his cuddly exterior. Zuva finds humor in his own life, cultural tensions, and loves interacting with the audience. Touring all over the continent, Zuva has become a mainstay on the European comedy circuit.
