These terms cover your use of this website and of Mad Cow Comedy’s shows, workshops, and private events. By browsing this site or booking a ticket, you’re agreeing to them. If anything here is unclear, email us at info@madcowcomedy.nl before you book.

About this website

This site is where we list our upcoming standup comedy shows and workshops in Utrecht, the Netherlands, and point you to where you can book them. It’s an information and marketing site — it doesn’t sell tickets directly, and browsing it doesn’t create any account or membership.

Booking tickets

To book a show, click the ticket link on that show’s page — this takes you to our third-party ticketing agent, where you complete the purchase securely by credit card, iDEAL/Wero, or PayPal. That purchase is between you and the ticketing agent, under their own terms; we don’t process payments or store your card details ourselves.

Your ticket confirms your spot at a specific show, date, and venue. Please arrive on time — venues may not be able to guarantee entry, or your original seat, if you arrive after the show has started.

Refunds

Plans change — if yours do, email us at info@madcowcomedy.nl and we’ll arrange a refund on tickets cancelled at least 24 hours before the show. We can’t guarantee refunds for cancellations made after that window.

If a show changes or is cancelled

Occasionally a show has to be rescheduled or cancelled — a lineup change, a venue issue, low ticket sales, or something outside our control. If that happens to a show you’re booked for, we’ll do our best to let you know as early as possible, by email or via the ticketing agent, and to sort out a refund or a spot at a rescheduled date.

Content and age guidance

Our shows are standup comedy, performed live — they’re recommended for ages 16 and up, and may include adult themes and strong language. If you’re booking for a younger audience, or if that’s not your thing, best to check with us first.

Private events and comedian bookings

We also book comedians and produce comedy nights for private and corporate events. Pricing depends on the length of the show, the number of comedians involved, and travel time to your venue, so we quote each request individually rather than publishing fixed prices. To get a quote, use our private events page or email info@madcowcomedy.nl; any specific terms for a private event (deposit, cancellation terms, final pricing) will be agreed directly with you before booking, and those specific terms take priority over this general page where they differ.

Using this website

You’re welcome to browse this site, share links to it, and sign up for Ticket Alerts. Please don’t try to scrape, copy, or republish our content elsewhere, interfere with the site’s normal operation, or use it for anything unlawful.

The Mad Cow Comedy name, logo, and the text, photos, and design on this site belong to us or are used with the relevant performer’s or photographer’s permission, unless stated otherwise. Please don’t reuse them without asking first.

Third-party services

This site links out to, or embeds content from, services we don’t control: our ticketing agent, Confirmed.show (which supplies our show listings), Mailchimp (which runs our Ticket Alerts list), Trustindex (which displays our Google reviews), and our social media accounts. Each of those operates under its own terms and privacy policy, which we’d encourage you to check — we’re not responsible for how they run their own service.

No guarantees, and where our responsibility ends

We try to keep this website accurate and up to date, but show details can change, and we can’t guarantee the site will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for losses arising from your use of this website, or from a show being changed, delayed, or cancelled — beyond arranging the refund described above. Nothing here limits any liability that can’t legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute that can’t be resolved directly with us will be handled by the competent Dutch courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as our shows or this website change. The version published here is always the current one.
